DSD 256: Songe - Audiophile Edition
Chamber music / Neoclassical / Instrumental pop / Tango nuevo.
The experience DSD 256
The DSD 256 by Songe offers exceptionally pure sound reproduction, where the silence, fluidity and richness of timbres allow the music to unfold with striking naturalness and depth.
Carefully transferred from the final master, this release preserves all the depth, warmth, and natural dynamics of the original recording, made at Saint-Benoît Church in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
In this wooden church—where the exceptional acoustics become a sixth performer—each instrument comes to life and finds its place within a vibrant, authentic, and immersive soundscape.
Every detail is rendered with great precision:
• the unique tone of a 200-year-old cello,
• the harp's clarity,
• vocal breathing,
• the mellow, rhythmic power of the double bass,
• and the glow of the violin.
The final mix of Songe was mixed by Louis Morneau (Canada), and the final mastering by Pranas Gudaitis (Lithuania) — two sound artisans whose high standards and refinement have made it possible to achieve an exceptional level of quality.
An exceptional digital version that stays true to the spirit and unique sound of this recording.
